In my recent post regarding this title I complained, about the quality of the images in the book, and the attendant difficulties with scanning and improving the images. I asked if anyone knew who the illustrators were. And for once I actually got a response, for the moment I will just list copies of some the colour illustrations that were copied to illustrate the book. At a late date I will update the original listing with the names of the illustrators that have been identified, by a fellow bibliophile who provided the images below and who wishes to remain nameless.
Click the link below to see the images as they appear in the book
If anyone else has copies of the original images it might be fun to do a comparative listing.
Steve, I know it’s a long time ago now, but have you updated the images and artists for this edition? (Florilèges de la volupté ou Les Voluptés d’une vicieuse.1955 Losfeld) Thanks
Hi David I will check this out. Steve
