Books for Trade: Anonymous, Amish Love, Florence Italy: Michael Angelino Press, n.d.[circa 1940’s] illustrated by Mahlon Blaine

A wonderful example of clandestine Americana, a very strange item, large paperback format, the wrappers and pages have an almost rag like feel, and the production is,   I think deliberately rustic, in line with the theme of the title.

I Cannot find another copy anywhere at the moment, and the only bibliographical information, comes from Roland Trenary’s “Mahlon Blaine One-Eyed Visionary”, Grounded Outlet Kingston 2014.

I would dearly like to find out more about the history of this title, however it is available for trade against my Paris Olympia press wants.
